AKA Computer Consulting introduces the first low cost EDI solution, completely integrated with Visual AccountMate and Performance EDI. This VAM Add-on module integrates seamlessly with VAM SQL 4.0 and VAM Lan 3.0. Since it works inside VAM, learning is extremely easy. We use Electronic Commerce Systems (ECS) Performance EDI software solution, which makes the first low cost complete solution for all your EDI needs.

Receiving Sales Orders (850's)

To process incoming Sales Orders, is as simple as retreiving your documents with the Perf. EDI sofware in one simple step.
Once your Sales Orders are received, you go to VAM in the "Visual EDI" module and open the “Process Inbound Documents”. This will automatically import any pending and new Sales Orders. It will also verify for valid customer numbers, ship to addresses and item numbers. It will also check for duplicate Customer P.O.'s, and allow you to make any corrections to invalid records. You can also add new customers and inventory items on the fly.
Once this process is completed a simple click of a button creates all your new orders in VAM.

Preparing & Sending Invoices (810's)

To process outgoing Invoices just ship the Sales Order through the standard "Ship SO" screen in VAM and any orders that were received through "Visual EDI" will automatically be flagged for export to the Perf. EDI System.
Once your invoices are prepared, open the "Visual EDI" module and go to the "Process Outbount Documents” & click on the Export button. The final step is to go in the Perf. EDI sofware and transmit pending Invoices and/or ASN's (Advanced Shipping Notice).
